About

Greater Geelong Speech Pathology was established in 2016, with a vision to provide high-quality speech pathology services to families and individuals in accessible locations around Geelong. We believe that families should be able to access services within their local community, to foster a sense of community engagement and belonging. We aim to help children and their families develop the skills and confidence that they need to participate and thrive in life.

Our practice is committed to evidence-based assessment and therapy services for children, adolescents and young adults. We have full time speech pathologists available to help clients achieve their communication goals. All of our Speech Pathologists are Certified Practicing Speech Pathologists and are current members of Speech Pathology Australia. All of our team members have current Working with Children Checks.

Greater Geelong Speech Pathology is a registered NDIS provider.

Sarah is the founder of Greater Geelong Speech Pathology. She graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2011 with Honours. She is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Sarah has worked in a variety of early intervention and private practice settings around Australia. Her professional interests include early speech and language development, Autism Spectrum Disorder across the lifespan, and literacy difficulties. She is committed to ongoing learning and implementing the latest evidence-based practice.

As a parent Sarah is attuned to family priorities; she is emphatic and understanding about your concerns regarding your child. When not at work, you’ll find Sarah exploring her hometown and showing her family all of the amazing things Geelong has to offer.

Ceri completed a Bachelor of Health Science with Honours in Linguistics and a Masters of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University. She is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.

Ceri has experience working with children and teenagers with speech, language and communication delays and disorders. She has special interests in Speech Sound Disorders, Developmental Language Disorder and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Ceri is hardworking and compassionate. She wants to help children learn to communicate to the best of their ability so that they can thrive in their environment. Seeing the positive impact she makes on a child’s life is what motivates Ceri to achieve the best outcomes for the families she works with.

Ceri is an animal lover, regularly rescuing and adopting neglected animals. Ceri’s current animal family includes two dogs, Millie and Kenzie, three cats, Misty, Jinx and Akira, and some fish. Ceri enjoys spending her summer in Torquay, making a habit of visiting the Surf Coast annually for a well-deserved break. Her favourite thing to do is spend time with her fiancé and her beautiful niece and nephew.

Mikali completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University. She is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Mikali grew up in Geelong and attended local primary and high schools. She is familiar with the areas and lifestyle, and very keen to contribute to the community she grew up in.

Mikali has a special interest in early childhood speech and language. She supports families to develop an awareness of the power of play and how this contributes to language development, social skills, and academic success. Mikali uses evidence-based practice to assist clients to reach their full potential and makes her sessions fun and engaging.

Mikali enjoys spending time with her new puppy, Prim. Together they explore Geelong, the Surf Coast, and Golden Plains, taking in the amazing scenery and enjoying the fresh air.
